Default A5 2.0T quattro

Not sure if this was mentioned here, but it seems that this will be available in Q1 2009 here in Canada. A5 cab (soft top) fall of 2009. This was from the Audi training to the brand specialists today at AOC.

Not sure what tranny options will come with the the A5 2.0TQ.

Default REALLY? Are you sure? Any other independent confirmations of this. I'd extend my lease...

... in a heartbeat if I knew I could score a 2.0T quattro manual A5 in early '09.

Right now I'm looking at the TT 2.0T or A4 2.0T quattro. But an A5 with that drivetrain would be my first pick.

Default Shhhhhhhhh! Don't give away that the new 2.0T is a better engine than the 3.2!...

... dude! Imagine the demand for a 2.0T A5? We can't let out how good an engine it is! I need the MSRP to be reasonable. Let them get their 3.2's and leave the better cars to us!

From what I understand a 2.0T A5 quattro will get near perfect 50/50 weight distribution. I wouldn't doubt 300 lb/ft of torque with a chip either. However I may not even chip it since it puts out so much torque already.

Here's hoping AoA gets manual 2.0T quattro's stateside soon.
