[L.A. GTG] Tuesday, June 19th @ The Stand in Encino (SFV) - Who's coming???
Join us once again for the monthly Audi get-together in the Valley. Great location, lots of nice cars, friendly people, good food... what more can you ask for?

if you don't mind helping us out, then we'd be glad to add an OC GTG
most of our board members tend to live and be familiarized with the L.A. area. we do have a couple board members in OC. maybe you can help us scout a cool location to hold a monthly meet and we can post it and promote to our members and other Audi folks.
FYI, there will be an OC Drive coming up at the end of next month and a Meguiars Detailing Techfest in Irvine sometime in November.

That shouldn't be too hard to do. Are you specifically looking for a place like The Stand?
A lot of parking and convenient to everyone down South? Looking forward to the upcoming events...

something similar to The Stand would be ideal...
meaning, the owners of the establishment are open and friendly to a car meet. just remind them that the Audi crowd tends to be older and more mature, so there really is no worry about problems arising. regarding time, in the past a good weeknight meeting usually runs between 7-10pm. however, if you plan on doing it on a weekend, look into doing a brunch/late morning thing cause many don't like waking up too early on weekends. also a place with decent food is a plus and maybe you can even arranged a little discount with the food place for all those who show up. i'll leave it up to you as far as what day and time you want to try this out.
also, yes a nice big parking lot is key. as for location, i suggest somewhere like in the middle of OC, so the folks from South OC and like maybe Long Beach would consider coming out.
hey Alan, we'd really appreciate it if you could work on this. i'm sure we can also get the Brembo and GMG guys to send some of the Audi customers for some good large turn outs.
