$40,000 Cabriolet Premium???
I've read on a couple of sites that the expected price of the RS5 Cab in the US will be around $110,00.
For example,http://www.autoblog.com/2012/09/06/a...rs5-cabriolet/ states:
"Word is that the RS5 Cabriolet will, in fact, be coming to America. When it goes on sale in Germany, it will carry a base price of €88,500, which translates into $111,427. No word on when the car will arrive here or how many will make the trip across the Atlantic."
As far as I can tell, the premium on the S5 Cab is only about $10,000.
Surely these websites can't be right.
Personally, I think $75K for a well-optioned RS5 is a decent price. But $110 for the Cabriolet -- no way.

You can't just do currency conversion to get pricing. Look at what a non-cab RS5 would cost if you just converted.
They do a number of things when they bring cars over to NA, one is to cheapen them up by stripping things out (like the oil pan baffles in the RS4). The best way to guess is look at what the price of likely competetors would be.
