Default Using the key fob to lower windows...

Sorry to be noob but I'm new here and still exploring my new to me 2010 S5. Question, is there a way to set the key fob to allow you to lower the windows when you are unlocking the doors. Great for those hot days in Georgia! I could depress the unlock button on my MINI Cooper key fob and the windows rolled down. Would love to know of there is something I am missing! Thanks!

Yes you can do this however you'll need to meet up with someone that has a VAG-COM cable.

Would you local dealer not do this for you? And why isn't this doable right "out of the box', why does it need a friend with a vag cable to reprogram something.

It does not come as a stock option but can be done through this method.

While you at it you can also set the sunroof to tilt with the fob, and set the windows to go up with the fob.

So if you ask your local SA will they not do any of these, like the needle sweep, or one button window down. It seems like if it doesn't violate local rules of the road it shouldn't be an issue.
