Default RS5 and left foot braking

I hope an RS5 owner has the answer to this:

If you press the brake and gas pedal at the same time, does the car automatically disengage the gas after about 0.5 seconds?

This is what it does in the S4 and only allows brake pedal overlap for a very short period of time.

Only time I could ever think that this would be applicable is when you're about to use launch control. State your reason for asking and it might help us answer.

Thanks to the unintended acceleration fiascoes, pretty much all car manufacturers have or are in the process of adopting to cut the throttle when brake pedal is pressed. The RS5 is not spared from this. You can't simultaneous press the brake pedal and apply throttle in the RS5, either, except when launch control is engaged.
