RS5. Discount? Wait Time?
Only discount they seem to offer is the $1,000 loyalty discount.
Most dealers are telling me that there is a six to eight month wait. Found one that says Oct-Nov. really?

Despite having been extended for another model year (2015), the RS5 is still a low volume production and most dealers get very few allocations if any. You might get a couple of grand off of MSRP if you negotiate well. I got $2000 off of MSRP in 2013 as I was able to bid two dealers against each other.

It's Done. Now the waiting begins.
Pulled the trigger today.
Saved $2,000+ by putting out to bid: $1,000 off the new car and another $1,000 more on the trade. V1 install only $170 vs $500. Doc fees were about half....$250.
Misano Red Pearl
Black comfort package with a/c seats
Carbon fiber inlays
Red Brake Calipers
Black Sports Exhaust
Tech Pkg
Drivers Assist Pkg
3M...everything forward of the front doors
V1 hardwire install
All Weather radial high performance tires
Delivery about 150 days.
Wife is thrilled...she will have the S4 all to herself.
Life is good.

I must echo that. They have no lateral support for one thing. If you are worried about comfort of the sport seats, I've driven 8+ hours straight with only restroom stops. These are some of the most comfortable sport seats. Opt for Alcantara if you worry about sweating. The RS5 was the first car where I opted for Alcantara over leather. Best decision ever.
