I currently own an '08 S4 Avant. The drivetrain for 60,000 miles has been flawless. The engine uses little to no oil, and the transmission is as good as new.
I am curious about owner's experience with the Direct Injection in the S5. Have any of you noticed any reduction of power due to the intake valves getting coked up?

I bet your Avant is fabulous. I have a 2012 S5 4.2 and have zero issues and no noticeable change in power.

However, I only have 13,000 miles on the car.
