Default Do I wait for the 2016 S5 ?

Is the 2015 S5 different then the 2014 ?

I don't know if I will regret buying the 2015 S5 because the 2016 S5 will be redesigned.

Will it make the 2015 lose its value really fast and look a little dated ?

The technology inside the car could also be upgraded in 2016 to go along with the new exterior.

Looking at ordering Glacier White with the black optics package and 19 " 5-arm titanium rotor design mags, not sure which inlays Carbon or Beaufort aluminum..interior would be the Magna Red-Black.

Your opinions please.
Thank you !!

It's like everything man. There is always a new and better something around the corner. Just pull the trigger and bite the bullet. The next thing you'd face after buying a 2016 S5 would be seeing the 20xx refreshed B9 S5. So you're always going to run into the same issue. Buy the car and enjoy it. As for colors, options, etc that's all you; you'd drive the car everyday so equip it the way you want and spend as much $$ as you're comfortable with. Thinking about a car as an investment is the wrong train of thought, you buy an S5 because you can afford to do so and want to enjoy the car, not because you're already thinking of resale and value down the road.

I am in the same boat as the op....I decided to wait for the 2016 model, here are my reasons:

1. It should be here in about a year - which I can wait for.
2. Currently have a new Q5 and would regret buying another Audi w/ the same exact interior (don't get me wrong its a great interior but, I don't want to see the same thing again)
3. The current model has been the same for a LONG time - 2009?
4. I WANT the new and greatest - I don't want to drive an old model especially if its going to look old within a year
5. I want to see what the new Lexus RC looks and drives like in person
6. But, it all comes down to your personal preference

Actually I sat in a S5 in 07'

I would hope that the B9 platform will be lighter

I went to the dealer today and realized that the S4 is plain looking next to the S5 that was black with red leather seats...W O W !!
My only concern is that I will be comparing my new S5 in 2015 to the newly designed 2016 and regret not waiting for it.
