Default Avoiding lock/unlock while washing

Maybe a lot of you have this problem. The car locks and unlocks while washing it. I know is due to the comfort access system. Any way to avoid that?
Leaving the key in the car? Didn't want to try that as did not have my spare key nearby.

I just set my key fob in the garage away from the car.
No more problem.

Leave the key inside of the car or away from the car in your garage. Don't worry about leaving it in the car. It won't let you lock the car as long as the key is detected inside the car.

It is possible to remove the 2032 battery. Just replaced mine which was wearing out according to a message on the display.

I normally just pop my key in either the driver's footwell or the cup holder when I am washing the car, as I agree, the constant locking/unlocking (particularly with the alarm beep) can get old pretty quickly.
