Well i'm pretty sure that's all I did, went to the code hit backspace and typed in the new code, then exit and do it.
Then I went back to check if the code had changed and it had. Before the coding was 01000000. My S5 cab is also a 2013.

Since you have the tools, you can enable the voice command feature that is shut off on the Cabriolets. There are several threads about it but I am not sure if the 2013/2014 version is the same fix.

I've had two people tell me that my DRL was malfunctioning not understanding that it goes out with the turn signal.

Yes , that annoyed me too. I coded that as well:
Keep LED DRL's on With Turn Signals
[09 – Cent. Elect.]
[Coding - 07] -> [Long Coding Helper] -> Byte 3 Bit 7 - Change 1 to 0
And I did this one too:
Fog Light turns on with turn signal (Curb Side Lighting)**
[09 – Cent. Elect.]
[Coding - 07] -> [Long Coding Helper] -> Byte 4 Bit 0 - Change 0 to 1
*Headlights must be on without Fog Lights for this to work.
