Not exactly--in earlier A3s "S-line" meant both trim changes and a sport suspension. At some point AoA separated them and made the "S-line" designation a trim-only standard feature. They called the suspension upgrade the "Sport package".
With the new A3 sedan there's an S-line trim package and an S-line suspension package. The suspension package is what's not available until June. Now as to how AoA will determine which A3s will be eligible for it.....your guess is as good as mine.

Audi built a lot of these cheaper base model cars as market launch cars. The 17" wheels look terrible. The 18's look much nicer. To me, the premium plus package is a must have.
Adding just the 18" wheels and heated seats is already $1200. Who wants to put an old school key and start the car manually in a 2015 car? No advanced key on a premium and a manual passenger seat.
Also, Audi just reduced the price of the premium plus package. It went from 2900 to 2500.
I wish Audi would have kept it simple with 1 navigation package. But some with Audi connect and others w/o. $2600 just for the nav with connect, and then 1400 for the camera and side assit. 4 grand there is a bit steep.

Agreed, it's a lot of coin just to get the back-up camera. It's a standard feature on many cars and will soon be mandated in a year or two if I understand correctly.

You need not get the navigation package to get a back up camera. The driver assist is a $1400 stand alone package that includes the side assist and camera. Or so I thought.

velcro two iPhones to the dash and rear bumper
Seriously, though the lack of backup camera on audis is odd. Its such a low-cost safety feature, a freaking Honda fit has it as standard equipment for Cheesus Steak.
Just got a new Q7… if you hate factory NavSat like I do, you're stuck with backing up the old fashioned way.
I ordered my A3 without nav, buying an extra iPhone just for that purpose, over the course of the lease is actually a lot cheaper… or, you know, just using the one you're already paying for;
iPhone=
- HotSpot
- Nav
- Music
- Google Search
- LinkedIn
- Texting
- Siri to chat with
- Movies
- Cool selfles of you driving your new ride
- (can I stop now)

Any idea on actual selling prices yet? Helping a friend who wants to get out of her 2008 A4, and is looking at this to replace it. Been a while since I shopped Audi, and don't know where to look to get good idea on what sort of deal to expect. Sometimes with a new model, they won't discount much b/c they don't have to.
