I did that in my Accord, but much, much slower. As soon as the wake broke over the hood, the car stalled - I almost had it!
I let it sit for a few days, and it started again. Changed the oil and that was that. The car would not die, and beat the snot out of it. Well, it did eventually die after it was hit when it was parked in front of my apartment.

that was awesome 
i took my cross country swimming one night when i was visiting family in Louisiana.
didn't do the big splash down, but the water did come over the top of the hood.
there was at least 2.5-3 foot of water in the road.

No-but I remember him driving through a hedge row onto a ball filed-if you look carefully you can see the CB antenna sliding right off the roof and it's magically back on a second later!! I think they used 30+ cars on that movie
