Just posted this in the A5/S5/RS5 forum...
I just ordered a 2022 RS3, and I will say that Audi San Diego is trying to charge ridiculous 20k ADM. I told them I will be taking my business elsewhere, and ordered mine from Brian Spaner (770-243-5611) at Jim Ellis Audi of Atlanta. Super easy, not ADM, charged MSRP, and he was even willing to set up shipping. I told him I'd just fly out once its available, and use the drive back as a break in drive. Just goes to show why Jim Ellis Audi is rated #1 Audi dealer for 2021!

There are no 2022 allocations, and 2023's cannot be ordered yet. So anyone who "orders" (myself included, as I am ordering one, and I work for them), simply goes to a waitlist. No word yet on when allocations will be forthcoming.

That is odd as I have a Comm #, Vehicle Status and Current ETA. I know things may change but to me this looks like a have a 2022 on order.

Vehicle Status - Factory
Current ETA 7/25/2022 - 8/14/2022
This is more than I have heard others get on their orders. Ill just keep waiting like everyone else since im in no hurry. I dont need a car for another 18 months anyways.

As of right now, there are no cars allocated or build dates/eta's for the US. Here is a screenshot from OMD showing everything back through scheduled production. If I try to search for 2023's only A3/S3 show up, no RS3 option at this time. Even if this changed tomorrow the first cars would not start getting built for another 2-3 months with first deliveries happening another 2 months after that.

Sort of
This type of search will only yield cars being built for inventory, not presold cars, and not waitlisted cars.
I was given another 22 A3 allocation last night. I am going to see if I can use it to build the first customer ordered RS3. Not sure if it will allow it or not.
But yes, no 23 order guide yet for an RS3, so definitely no way to order one.
Dealers were told a couple weeks ago to submit their first round "orders" for RS3's for customers, but all of them went to a waitlist. I have 4 sitting there so far.
Anyway, as someone who has been with Audi for a while, the dates in OMD are estimates, and means very, very little, Sometimes things beat estimates (not usually nowadays), and usually they miss estimates. This holds true for build dates, shipping dates, arrival dates, etc. The only proof is when the car shows at the dealer. Tracking it before hand may sound fun, but tbh, it's a rather useless endeavor at the end of the day, as knowing doesn't make it come any quicker or solve any potential delays. A truly good, worthwhile dealer will carve out a period of their day/week, consistently, to update their clients on the status of their ordered vehicles that are actually allocated. Sadly, most are simply lazy, or don't have access to the info. Which is why who you buy from is equally as important as what you buy,

I placed an order this morning (upstate NY Audi) was told Audi is no longer accepting 2022 orders & was able to place one for a 2023. The order guide opened up today
