Also a spinning hard drive makes a little noise before you make it out of the car

As for the noise you hear after the engine shut off, that's most likely the secondary coolant pump that keeps circulating coolant until a certain temp is reached. This prolongs turbo life.

Does this mean that I don't have to leave the car running for a couple minutes after I park? I know turbo cars you need to give the intercooler time to cool down but will this feature do it for me?

That is correct. The pump will keep running and keep the turbo from taking a dump on you.

what about when I stop or when I turn off my S3 there is strong metal clunking sound (very short in its nature and happens very infrequently, like twice or three times a minute and then stops)? Most my previous cars had similar noises but there were more frequent and less louder.

prob the exaust system changing temp as its cooling off, what really gets me though is those hard drive sounds 8( ...woah!
