Vanity plates are really a personal decision for the owner. I would say if it brings a smile to your face every time you come back to the car then go for it. However, in your state I am sure you are aware of the added cost to the personal plate (in your case $103 for the initial year and the an additional $83 for every year thereafter in addition to your normal registration fees which will be higher than just about any other state).

Thought everyone in California had vanity plates. LOL. Agree that it should be personal. Not everyone gets my plate but that's OK. Means something to me. CA plates do look amazingly like the old Outrun game!

Oh yeah! I love OutRun.

I agree that vanity plates are very personal, so if QV4TRO is meaningful to you, I'd definitely go for it.

My old (OLD) plates from 2004 were arU4ic (Allroad Euphoric) - the "4" is an "F". then my new plates I ordered, s3u4ia, are coming and same thing, 4=F.

Hmmmm.

Maybe sounds-like is ok, but direct replacement is not.(?)

(and oh yeah, you're a cheap bastard - I thought I was bad.)

Much more reasonable here in Nevada, $43 then $20 a year. It's why all those Californians are fleeing the state for Nevada(!)

Tx was $500 for 5 years, plus normal annual plate cost - rip off. Saw one today that obviously was to confuse the cops - something like 8B8B88BB8
