Great advice. Thanks for the response! Audi is still waiting to get my wheel company to approve the wheel replacement, which means I'm stuck with a Hyundai Elantra as a rental because all the rental Audis are out on holiday.
At any rate, my auto insurance is Geico and they're pretty aggressive when it comes to raising rates for any reasons at all. I've amortized the out of pocket cost out, and it is more cost effective to pay for it myself vs insurance, as out of pocket cost is a one-time thing, but an insurance rate hike with Geico is usually in the neighborhood of 10 - 20 dollars per month, and that's usually for an indefinite amount of time.

I would highly doubt that sensors knocked out of alignment because of a road hazard incident would be covered by warranty. The warranty is there to correct factory defects, not driver incidents. If you were in an accident with the car and the sensors needed adjustment, would you expect that to be done under warranty or under the insurance claim? I think the answer is fairly evident but you can always try to convince Audi otherwise. Good luck.

I know for a fact Audi wont cover damage from the result of road issues, but that's not a problem. I was mostly just curious about what these calibrations consisted of.
I do have one remaining question for the RS3 owners in here: Does the 19x8.5 front wheel on the staggered OEM setup fit on the rear without rubbing? I'm thinking for long road trips of 150 miles or more, it might be worthwhile to purchase a full-size wheel / tire combo as an emergency use item, in the case a flat happens in a more remote area of the country.

Unfortunately, all these nanny aids, lane departure, adaptive cruise control etc. are time consuming to recalibrate or check, and possibly could go out of adjustment, when hitting a deep pot hole at speed, especially if the rim was bent. You might want to try making a claim with the local municipality or state/provincial authority who are responsible for road repairs.
