New to the 8V crew, have a ton of questions...
Hello everyone, super pumped to pick up my 2018 A3 quattro in 2 weeks. Have a ton of questions...
1) My car has the square radar sensor in the front, can I enable adaptive cruise control with coding in VCDS? I believe all the hardware is already there
2) Can you code the "animated" brake lights so instead of a solid bar it animates from inside out? Also can you code the headlights to disable amber?
3) Can you fit the RS3 grill on a regular A3 without the S-Line bumper?
4) How hard is it to remove the front bumper? Any DIY?
5) Any VCDS tutorials anywhere on all the cool stuff you can enable?
6) Does Audi make any performance parts such as exhaust? What are my options here?
7) The 2.0T on the A4 and A5 have more power, is this mechanical or software?

Welcome aboard. New s3 owner myself. I have done a ton of research on a few things and think I can help with a couple of your questions. The rs3 grill will not fit on a new a3 or s3. Waiting myself for one to be made. As far as exhaust goes, tons of different options available. Milltek, AWE and Armatrix are a place to start. Audi does not. Power wise, the 2.0 engine is different from model due to software and engine parts. There are many people on this forum who are very knowledgeable and will answer all your questions. Good luck

1) you cannot to my knowledge. You would have to have the front camera which is on the prestige package but I don't think it has been done.
2)no. It is called sequential lights. It uses a different led panel. And I have led headlights so I have no amber in my headlights so I'm not sure
3)nope
4)no sure. I personally wouldn't want to remove it
5)yes. No seatbelt chime, auto reverse dip side mirror, guage sweep, flash to pass set to 5, etc.
6)I got exhaust off eBay and love it. $800 total installed with quad tips. Great sound and better performance.
7)I think it is both. A tune will really wake up your A3 especially with an intake and dp and exhaust you will do 0-60 in like 4.5 sec
