Default Magnetic Ride

I don't believe any S3's have been delivered to North America with magnetic ride. So we need to look to Europe and elsewhere for reviews:

"The S3 proved adept at commuting, was a doddle to shift about in a busy shopping centre carparks, and all the while transported the family around in comfort, thanks to the fitment of Audi's magnetic ride adaptive dampers. Just select the comfort mode, and even on its big 19-inch alloy wheels and gumball tyres the sedan rides smoothly on cruddy patchwork roads."

There are many others. I have only read good reviews regarding S3 magnetic ride.

According to the AudiUSA order guide for the 2015 S3, Audi magnetic ride is part of the 19" Performance package option.

it's also mentioned in the option on AudiUSA website configurator.

The prior posters were discussing whether magnetic ride was a desirable option. My post was to provide a S3 review indicating magnetic ride was desirable since no AW members have a 2015 S3 with magnetic ride.

Default Good stuff

I guess what everyone wants to know is if the suspension is manually adjustable without the mag ride too.

Hey didn't djtroymx1 say he/she had one? Either way with the Mag suspension or w/o they could answer some questions.

Without Magnetic Ride the suspension is not adjustable (unless you put in a 3rd-party suspension).

Drive select is standard on the S3 so what does that do?

From the Audi Dictionary

Drive Select
The Audi Drive Select system was introduced several years ago. This technology allows you to adjust the type of driving you want to do whether it be sport driving, comfort driving, or something else. The suspension, steering, throttle response, and more can be adjusted to provide the best driving experience you are asking for depending on the road.

Magnetic Ride
Instead of conventional damper oil, the shocks are filled with a special fluid, where viscosity can be controlled by an electromagnetic field. Audi magnetic ride suspension harnesses the fluid’s electromagnetic properties to deliver the appropriate damping forces. It operates in normal or sport mode.

.
Yeah but there is that word again: "suspension".
