With regard to the A3 and maybe some other models...

Sprint Blue
Avus Silver
Dolphin Gray

Will cost you $2500. And you wait 1-3 months. Why? I see "sprint-ish blue" Dodges, Mazdas everyday, which doesn't work IMO. But seriously, if Audi brought over sprint blue and avus silver (at the standard metallic paint upcharge, not the ridiculous $2500) maybe they would sell more A3s.

<b>"Muhahahha... Our best colors. They will be exclusive to everyone but those stupid Americans!!!! We shall make the A3 in these colors a special order for the yankees - 3 months.... Yes! And we'll also make it extremely expensive to get these nicer colors. $2,500! Yes! Let the Americans have red, white, and boring blue! Also black! And even charcoal (lava)... that is all they need."</b>

I can see packaging Sprint Blue with a special pkg, loaded even. But it's not worth 3X the price of the standard paint options.

In the meantime Ub3rS4, I would keep your car locked at all times

I'm sure if they brought the S3 over it would be offered in sprint. Love my sprint S4.

Default lol @ americans being angry at car costs.

In some countries like malaysia, you dont even get to choose your color/options! you just pick the closest car from the dealer's stocklist.

Else, you special order the car, which will only arrive on the next batch of shipment, maybe 3 months later, maybe 6, nobody knows. But the premium you pay for it will buy you many hookers and blow, that's for sure.

As for the UK, Sprint blue on the S3 is $1k, and considered "exclusive" on the A3. Exclusive paint costs 3k.

germany itself isnt cheaper I may add.
Sprint blue on the S3 = 615 euro = ~900 usd?
exclusive color = 2105 euro = 3000 usd.

Your car price after shipping and federalization is still cheaper than most of the world, and lets not forget fuel charges and earning power as well(try to look past london).

so...please stop whining.

Default Cost in Malaysia are indeed nutty!

MIL's Alfa 156 GTA cost nearly as much as our Ferrari! Ack!

Default relax

the best colors are optional and probably so expensive that 99.9% of the A3 owners don't get them. my point is, that is stupid. Audi should want americans to be EXCITED about the color choices, so it helps sell the car.

relax, I realize we have better pricing for the most part.
