What's the stupidest thing you've done in your car? I'll go first.
I spent Sunday at an Audi Club drivers ed in Bremerton outside of Seattle.
Had a lot of fun, saw some friends, met a lot of nice people.
There was a guy there who I've seen at an event before that this time was driving his one month old 4dr black 335.....really nice car and a really nice guy.
2/3rds of the way thru the last session of the day they pulled everyone off for a minute because there was a car stuck on the track. When we went to go back out, the 335 was in front of me waiting for a wave to go out...While we're sitting there I suddenly remember that I want to turn my video camera back on to get some footage of me attempting to keep up with him. As I somewhat franticly try to turn around to press the record button my foot slips off the brake and I roll into the poor guy.
To hell with the fact that I looked like a total idiot to everyone that was watching...I left a nice little 10-12 inch long scuff on the bumper on his brand new car.(Fortunately I've got no front plate or it would have been much worse)
He couldn't have been any nicer about it...he thinks that he'll be able to buff it out.
I feel so bad for the guy.
And I feel like poop.
That is all.

Ouch. With my last SUV, I drove the right quarter panel into the garage, trying to park it way
to the right to leave room for the wife's car. I just skimmed it and ended up with a bunch of white house paint on the car. My Mercedes service rep was good about it though, and had someone buff it out at no charge.
I did many more stupid things when I was a teenager though. 'nuff said about that for now.
