What's the allowed oil consumption for 2.0T?
Anyone found out what the allowed oil consumption per Audi? Is there such specification?
I am at about 25,000 miles and it got to a point that I have to add a quart each 1000 miles now. Last time I changed the oil at Audi they said that 1 quart per 2,000 miles is fine but since the oil consumption got worse. I know these bastards will say anything, that's why I am looking for the actual spec.
My lease is up in 4 months and I really want to buy out the car, but this situation scares me. Any suggestions?
One thing I forgot to mention, I have an 03 2.7T allroad with 75 k on it and it consumes zero oil.

I don't see how adding 2 oil changes worth of oil between each 10K service can be within spec.
You'd have to have either a massive leak or a trail of thick white smoke behind your car.

The manual states that 1 qt per 1,200 miles is "normal". However, the better a car seats during..
break-in, the less oil it will consume and the more power it will make. My car is a little over 1 month old and it has about 1,200 miles on it. I haven't had to add a drop of oil yet and this is during the break-in. I guess that's a good sign. Or a really BAD sign! Nah. Hopefully it just seated really well during break-in (moderatley hard with near redline runs and vacuum braking).
