Does anybody make a filler to fit an aftermarket radio into the radio location on the A3.

Single DIN face plate you can get from VagParts.com or another parts seller and is Audi Part Number "8P0 035 459 5PR"

Double DIN face plate you can get from a few places online and is made by a company called Metra and the model number is "99-9104"

If you need the Double DIN I have an extra unopened one I could sell you.

Metra has a double din faceplate for the symphony head unit. Apparently they have a single din faceplate for the concert head unit in production. In europe several vendors have them.

I'm not really sure. I bought them with the idea of an in-car computer or an alpine head unit but now I've changed my mind. So both are sitting in my room. If the weather clears up a bit later I'll go check and post some pix.
