Default painted my a3 grill surround satin black

i did not take the bumper off. i just did a super good tape job. i had a minor disaster but was able to sort of fix it.. it ain't perfect but its black and beats using the 3m plastic tape imho.

An OEM black grill surround is about $80. How do you figure he saved $100-$200?

Default i though the surround was around 100. damn i was off by 1/5. with shipping its ~$90

i am going to go cry in a corner. If he had done the whole grill and surround it would have been 200. Given he only did the surround, i guess thats not a fair comparison. whatever. Danny you left out the (~) of my post in your reply. Do you know what that means? great. Also with shipping its ~$90.

Default Last time I painted something on the car I got yelled at. Now everybody's cool with it.
