new Audi A3 owner
Just wanted to say hello. I just bought a new 2007 Lava Grey A3 S-Line on Sunday and am loving driving it. I actually look forward to driving now! I took it for a drive yesterday after work to find some good spots for taking pictures of it (I'm an amateur photographer). Here are a couple pictures I took yesterday:
Unfortunately, during my drive yesterday a rock hit my windshield, leaving a quarter sized crack. Of course I had to take a pic of that too.

Niiiiiice pics on Rieter Rd!
And I see you bought it from Barrier Audi in Bellevue. I was driving my new '08 A3 from the Bay Area, CA to Vancouver, BC and stopped by Seattle along the way. I had a problem with the strip covering the roof rack rails coming unglued (the adhesive tape was not adhesive at all) and took it in the morning to Barrier. They took my car in, didn't really ask me for further info (still had dealer plates on it) and took care of me while I enjoyed the really nice showroom they had (designed like Audi AG-style buildings).
I just had to give some kudos to Barrier Audi as they took care of me like I was one of their own customers.... way to go Barrier!

Congrats on the A3. Regarding the crack in your windshield..
If you choose not to replace the windshield because of possible high insurance deductable, at least look into getting the crack repaired(ie. sealed). The crack will still be visible; however, sealing it will prevent it from getting larger over time. Many insurance companies will pay for such a repair(w/out deductable). When I got a crack in my TT windshield, Geico sent someone out to my work and repaired the windshield in the parking lot, free of charge.

some states require ins comp's to cover cost of windshield replace after road damage....
ask your company. if not, just use Safelite, in your driveway, reasonable, excellent work.
