Default Nasty Bastards

Some punk broke into the car today. Smashed the left rear window. God I hate that! Such a violation. Not worried (much) about what was stolen. More worried about the repair.

I'm sure this has happened to some of you. It's a 2008. My first thought was to have someone come to the house to repair it. But then thought maybe I should have Audi do it (for what I'm sure will be an outrageous bill)

Any thoughts about one vs the other?

Thanks

Steve

Default Ouch! Dealers usually contract out to glass specialists anyway. The one upside though

of having it done at the dealer, is that if you are there at the time, you can double check for any imperfections and order a new one if need be.

Some insurance policies have a glass protection portion.

BTW, cursing in the header (as deserved as it may be), may cause some filters to block AW from readers. It's why we suggest being creative, like "b@stards!"
