The missing leather smell...fixed. Griots Leather sent
I'm no fan of sents for cars, but the lack of the smell of leather is a real let down for me in the A3.
I'm no fan of Griots, no detractor of 'em either.
But, I needed some stopper/valves for the gallon containers I have of various detailing supplies I use and Griots was having a sale, so I ordered some leather scent to try it along with the dispenser valves.
It's good stuff. Not permanent, as it should be, but that's on Audi. Nevertheless, soaking a piece of sponge placed under the front seats with this stuff makes up for the lack of leather smell a bit.

Never got into Poor Boys. Interesting door shut pics, twin to A3. Used me
Megs for years, good smell. Now use Leather Master tho.
Still, tragic that the A3 has leather and yet doesn't smell of it, and the vinyl used is weaker in wear than leather. Both situations are completely backwards from expectation.
Go fig'r.
Thanks for the link, fantastic!
