Default To memphis and the rest of my A3 bros..Just put my new tires on a couple of days ago!!!

235/45/17 potenza REO5A, on stock wheels , with H and R sport springs, and no spacers . They fit perfect fellas. No rubbing with 5 people in the car. The added traction is amazing. ou can still spin the tires hard but alot more work is required to do so. The ride comfort is great as well. Before putting on my new tires i was going to replace my stock shocks cause i thought i blew them out. The pirelli p zeros used to hit the bumps very harsh. Thanks to the Bridgestones soft compound the ride quality is amazing. As far as handeling goes believe it or not but i can oversteer my car now if i really wnted to. The fronts grab the corners really hard. The threshhold for break away is alot greater with the added rubber. The draw backs are that the 2.0t needs a little more effort to move the added weight of the wider rubber.( theres alittle more ground to cover as well now). But id rather be holding on to the pavement rather than tearing it up. Other than that every thing else is aplus. Ill never go back to 225 sz rubber again.

Default Looks like Tirerack has them on closeout for $97 each

If you got them for that price, that's a great deal, too. Your rollout is a little longer (a little more than an inch), so that may account for some of the additional effort on the start...plus stickier means more rolling resistance. Enjoy the new shoes.

Default Thanks for the info. I betcha your car looks killer with the wide look....

I've been dying to know how the 235s work on the A3. I'll probably get a set next year but in 18's.
