iPod Adaptor on 2007 A3 with Satellite?
I apologize in advance if this has specifically been covered before (I fear it may have but did a search and could find nothing!). I have a 2007 A3 with the Bose upgrade and Satellite radio. According to Dice Electronics their iPod adaptor now works with Satellite. It hadn't before as the Satellite unit used the last available input but now they have a "splitter" of some kind. Has anyone with the Bose and Satellite done this yet? I believe Audi's unit does not wotk with Satellite. Any other options besides Dice anyone knows about?
TIA!

just spoke with my "Techie" guy and he THINKS...
that since my Bose has the CD chnager in the dash I will be able to keep both. That is, not an additional input needed. I am going in on Monday to have the job done so we shall see.

IIRC, you have to move 3 wires from the DICE connector into the factory connector
in order to keep your satellite radio. The satellite receiver has an audio pass-thru for the external CD changer (which is what the DICE connects as) and you have wire the DICE into the circuit.
Be sure when you order to specify that you have a 2007 that wasn't prewired for the glovebox changer.

according to what he tells me I have to choose to lose the CD chnager...
when we install the iPod adaptor but with the Audi factory adaptor he said I should be able to see playlists, etc. in my head unit and control from the unit or my steering wheel. I guess since most of my CD music is on my iPod now anyway I should be OK. and i mostly DL music rather than buy CDs anyway!
