Help me pick new tires
So yesterday in the midst of rushing to a wedding, murphy decided to strike again. Found a screw in the rear right tire just as we were dropping our kid off at the in-laws'.
The screw is about 0.5 inch from the sidewall so a tire shop said they can't patch it. I'll get a second opinion on tuesday but I'm pretty sure new tires are in order.
So after reading all the various reviews, I've narrowed my choices down to:
1. Toyo Proxes 4
2. Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S
3. Falken ZE-912 (not the 512's). Also, it's a pretty new model, so I can't find much reviews on it.
What do you think?

I went with the pzero nero's and after about 12,000 miles... they are great. The P6's were such...
garbage though anything would be an improvement. The pzero nero's are quiet and handle great, in rain too.

Thinking of Goodyear F1 or Yokohama ADVAN Neova to replace my ContiSportContact 2 OEMs...
The Contis only have 2500 miles on them, so I'll probably run them at least until spring, but the irresponsible side of me says to replace them now. (I wonder how quiet the ADVANs are, compared to the F1s.)
You might want to ceck out the Wheels & Tires forum too. Let us know what you end up choosing.

I'd like to try the Neova's too..So far on this car I've had Pzero nero's, F1's and now PS2's
F1's and PS2's are very close performance wise...F1's are marginally better in the rain but overall I like the PS2's the best.

LOL guess I'll hafta do some more reading/thinking
Thanks all for the suggestions. I'm mainly looking for all-seasons since we only get snow here like 2-3 times a year. And I have the wifey's AWD for that. But we do get lots and lots of rain, so something that handles wet traction is key. From past experience summer threads seem to do better in wet traction than a/s but I figure just in case I get caught out in a snow dump, a/s would be a safer bet.
