GIAC DSG hesitation?
I've had the GIAC flash in my A3 DSG for a couple of months now and I love it. Only thing that concerns me is that at WOT there is a hesitation or slippage when shifting to the next gear at anything over 5000 rpm. Does anybody else have this problem? I've opted for lifting the throttle before shifting and it seems to help.

Re: ECS dogbone instert
Does it really take care of my problem? My problem is that before the next gear is engaged the revs go down 100-200rpm and then the gear engages.

Re: What mil. you may need a fluid change.
I have 22,000 miles but I've notice this since I got chipped about six months ago. GIAC told me it isn't normal and there trying to help me. I also have installed a GLI 6MT gas pedal instead of the DSG version (the vendor sold me the wrong part), maybe this has something to do with it although the part # for the guts are suppose to be the same in both pedals. I may have to re install the stock pedal just to be sure or go back to stock on the ECU? Do you think I need to replace the oil the manual says at 35,000mi?

I was intially having the same problem with Revo...
it didnt happan as soon as I was flashed but start to occur progressively around the 20K mark, I then switched to APR and it got better but eventually started getting worse again. Just recently went in for my 35K service (and DSG fluid change) and its running like brand new. Audi defintly skimps on the fluid changes for DSG it should be every 20-25K IMHO.
