i'm an idiot...left the ipod in the holder....was out front working 5 minutes before...
i'm blown away we didn't see or hear it...we were working around the house all afternoon, out and back to the car...i don't think the car was even locked...which is why i didn't hear the alarm....
so pissed right now...
i never leave the ipod out..probably only the 2nd time in the last year...

I have walked past cars with an ipod in plain sight before.
...and thought what kind of fool leaves an ipod on their dash.
Sorry for your loss and the BS you will have to go thru to get the car back to new.

Crossing the pond, over here we have regular break-ins mainly portable Sat-Navs and ipods left on show. But they are getting more desperate by looking for the cars which have the holder/cradle for the device and break in anyway, opening all the compartments like the glove box and under seat trays etc. hoping the owner was to lazy to carry it away.
