Default i just don't pay attention anymore... i figured out it is better for the sake of mind...

open sky and the rear lift-gate cover rattle every once in a while. But I do not see these rattles as negative or disappointing issues since the car has been very reliable mechanically.

Default Rattle in rear lift gate, could be due to loose fastening clip.

I also had rattle and that was the culprit. Mentioned the rattle at last service and they fixed it no problem.

The only other rattle I have is my cellphone charger flopping around in the center arm rest.

Default Beyond the keeper ***** swinging on strings under the rear decklid, no.

But I do take care to dodge monster bumps or holes, creep over speed bumps, and ease over driveway curbs at low speeds. A small creak or groan when going over those, but overall still pretty tight at 35K miles.

Default I've also had the rear deck rattle over bumps... just as Len pointed out in his mod to correct it.

You just need a little cushioning between the hatch and deck. Len adhered a swatch of velcro and then secured a double sided piece of velcro to it, which worked for him. I'm looking to fashion a clip on solution so there's no adhesive involved.

Other than that, I haven't had any other rattling problems (but then I'm still under 7k miles).

Default Your rattle must be different then. I only heard mine when I opened/closed the lift gate.

It was obvious that something was loose behind the trim panel. I haven't experienced the rattle associated with the deck lid.
