Default A3 Exhaust Remus or B&B

Looking for an aftermarket exhaust to wake up the sound - but I can't have it too loud and I don't want any drone on the freeway. Gotta keep the wife and baby happy.

I'm looking at Remus or B&B Stealth (same as APR I hear)exhausts.

Does anyone have experience with either of these?

Romulus and Remus are Rome's twin founders in its traditional foundation myth, although the former is sometimes said to be the sole founder. Their maternal grandfather was Numitor, rightful king of Alba Longa, a descendant of the Trojan prince Aeneas, and father to Rhea Silvia (also known as Ilia.) Before their conception, Numitor's brother Amulius deposed his brother, killed his sons and forced Rhea to become a Vestal Virgin, intending to deprive Numitor of lawful heirs and thus secure his own position; but Rhea conceived Romulus and Remus by either the god Mars or the demi-god Hercules. When the twins were born, Amulius left them to die but they were saved by a series of miraculous interventions. A she-wolf found them and suckled them. A shepherd and his wife then fostered them and raised them to manhood as shepherds.

Default REMUS USA Response

REMUS USA Responding. I just PM'd the original poster, but for the rest of you, REMUS offers a few different systems for the A3 series. There are FS's (Front Silencers) as well as RS's (Rear Silencers) available. Several of these systems cross over to a few VW applications as well. For "Allroad in S.F." I let him know I would need more specific info' about his car to accurately quote him. But below is just one of the A3 versions we offer. Also, there is an AudiWorld special that is ongoing as long as we're a sponsor here. Thanks.

Remus us headquartered about 20 minutes from my home and they have different finishing tip options. Remus is also highly regarded in Europe so I'm going to give them a try.

I'll be paying a visit to their HQ next week, pick out a system and have it installed by a Remus authorized installer.

This is going to be fun but I'm still a little worried that the system will be too loud and drone on the freeway like APR's tend to do.

I'll keep everyone posted and if you have any questions, let me know

Best,
Robert
