Default 1/2 done removing my bigest Pet Peeve

Stupid tabs on the bottom of the Votex skirts- Left side done-

Right side to be completed next weekend- ( wife gives me about an hour a weekend to do my own crap- LOL)

Default NICE! That settles it...I'm having that done.

Looks way better....those tabs have always really bugged me too.
I need to get mine repainted/installed so I'll do it or have the shop do it for me.

How did you do it? Hack saw? Table saw? Kitchen knife? ;^P

Default Proccedure...........

Used a small hand saw with a very sharp blade. masked off with 2 layers of Blue painters tape,

Cut very slowly leaving about 1/32 of material from the tab.

Sanded off with Orbital sander with 220 grit.

One note- there are 2 mounts on the center of the piece, I just sanded those down as well - no problem

yes it greatly imporves the look-

...I didn't realize it was a Votex thing. Really stands out on light colored cars. Good work!
