Default yes, my A3 is really smooth with premium package suspensions. and the addition of heavier Rear..

sway bar improves the handling without sacrificing the smooth ride...

Default does the TT have sport suspension?

the A3 with premium pkg or standard pkg (same) rides like a boat, comfy indeed.

Default How about installing adjustable shocks?

Cheaper than taking a hit on depreciation....

Default I've never driven in a TT but coming from a few S4's and other Audis, the A3 with sport suspension..

is very smooth and forgiving. I mean, it's no 1985 Cadillac Eldorado or Buick Park Avenue that floats but it comfortable to me, Not harsh. Tight but not harsh. Haven't driven in NYC but for most circumstances it is comfy.

YMMV, but I think even the S-Line A3 suspension is pretty supple. Ultimately, your best bet is to take wifey to your local dealership for a test drive. Best of luck.
