Lease Prices/Sale Prices

I like the A3 and may get one when my current lease is over. To me the numbers quoted here for the A3 seem high.
In January 2013 I leased a new '13 A6 2.0 Premium Plus Quattro with NAV, Cold Weather Package, floor mats, Quartz Gray, Side Assist. Total MSRP $51,170 with shipping. The negotiated sale price was $49,059. I paid sales tax upfront with no down payment. It is 3-years, 10,000 miles a year; my monthly payment is $670 all-in.
Bear in mind that even though this is “only” a 2.0 it includes all the other A6 goodies like Audi Drive Select, MMI, Audi Music Interface w/cable, 18” wheels/tires, Xenon Plus headlights, 7” pop-up screen, parking system with rear camera, advanced key, etc. This is a large well-outfitted car with amazing comfort and technology for $670 a month.
In recent dealer discussions they might be willing to take my car in six months and put me into a 2015 similarly equipped A6 for $675-$680 a month no down payment. As much as I like the A3 I would need to go down at least $175 a month in payments to consider it. Just my take.

why are you leasing it?
I'm about to close a 3-year lease of a Hyunda Sonata in few days and will be getting an A3 in October.
Leases are good for the moment but in the long run you are pouring money down the drain of something you don't own and will have to return in near mint condition by the end.
You would be better off going the finance route.

I'd prefer to lease it as to lock myself into a car for 3 years (as I can't seem to keep a car for more than a year) and we get property tax savings here in Missouri.
