A1 coming to the USA?
Anybody in the A1 community have any idea about Audi's plans to bring the car to the US?
Last I found on a search is they were strongly considering it as of Jan 2013.

Want to order my girl a A1 Sportback in Cumulus Blue with black optic/S-line+. She's in love with it. Will put the black contrast roof and pano on it as well.
I figure we'd only get the 1.4 Twin charged engine here and not the 2.0T, but I can tune it with APR or STaSIS/Revo and get it up in the 230 bhp range with a stage 2 and Milltek exhaust.
Still not sure if we'll get them, and if we do, if we'll see the COD come here or not. The COD should end up giving an ave of 50 mpg in US estimates. Which she is all about. I'm all about power and fun personally, but it would be her car.
If anyone hears anything chime in please.
I would guess we'd be looking at 2015 MY at the earliest, thought the article says it may be 2017 MY as we may only get the second generation A1.
Thanks!

I doubt they will bring A1 to the states because of the s-tronic transmission. Unlike other countries, most of the Audi models here use tiptronics. I guess Audi don't want to get sued by the US consumers.
