Default odd behavior 12v 90q

So long story short just recently replaced my cam sensor which fixed my no start problems and now im having my charging system, coolant and park brake light coming on and staying on while I drive, the charging system light does not flash like my alternator is not working but after a volt test I for sure have a draw im reading just under 12volts running, everything seems to be in order and my alternator has less then 5000k on it so im a bit lost here any ideas would be great

Just want to add that I just went and disconnected and reconnected my battery, checked for codes none were there, upon 3 consecutive restarts I noticed the car was having a bit of trouble almost like it didnt want to crank on the final try I started getting smoke from my steering column, seriously! Wtf?

My initial thoughts as well but does that explain all the symptoms I was thinking two seperate problems, I was leaning towards a dying starter to explain the chugging noises and laboured starts, but the weird warning lights? Would an ignition switch alone really cause all those problems? Ive since parked the car and wont be starting it until im satisfied ive isolated the problems that are causing smoke and the laboured starts

Just to also ask and not to seem stupid but I keep reading a lot about the trunk lid wiring harnass being a massive pain and causing weird problems what should I be looking for back there to see if it is also causing problems?

If you had smoke coming from the trunk, then I get it.

But right now, all I can do is sarcastically accuse the Crazy Russian of typing with too heavy of an accent (again), and wonder why the logical solutions are the only ones being ignored around here, lately.

Hey Yuri, my Cab keeps overheating... Do you have an extra fuel pump?
