More progress finally!
I've mentioned that I'm working on a custom shift **** for my new 90. Something that meets my needs exactly. For those who don't remember the original thread it can be found with the attached link.
I've decided on a beadblasted, black anodized exterior, with the polished 90 logo and CF inlay. The most challenging to make, but should really pop when finished:
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v697/anokiernan/95%2090%20Sport%205spd/90ShiftKnobCFGun.jpg">
I altered the shape slightly from the old render, but the idea is the same. The new shape provides endless methods to grip the **** securely. I am extremely happy with the results thus far. It weighs 156.3g, the overall throw of the shifter is now 2" left to right, and 4" front to back. Respectable numbers I feel considering I haven't even begun altering the bushings or bearings associated with the shifter. The top of my hand now lies level with my knee which is very comfortable( I'm 6'0" ). Next step is CNC machining the 90 logo and CF inlay, which is going to have to wait for some time, but atleast I can enjoy the **** already )

Haha, Actually...
There's really only 3, 6-32 UNC 120* opposed set screws, the other holes are simply for symmetry and aesthetics. Even though it's typically out of sight, if you drop down and look at it 3 holes just looked out of place. Ah the beauty of solid modeling )
