Default Looking to buy 1993 90S, what to look for?

Hey guys, new to the 90 forum..... Thinking of buying a 90, it has 203,000 miles, and is a slush-box. I drove it about an hour ago, shifts very well, and has had very good maint. What kind of things should I look for, it has no rust to speek of. No body work at all has been done. All power stuff works well, do these have the same type of trans issues as the longitudinal VWs? Are there any teel tale signs of failure? Thank you for your input guys!!!

watch out for the rear main crank seal, that's a b1tch to fix. If a minimal oil leak doesn't bother you then disregard this.
