Engine hydrolocking after fuel dist. rebuild
Car: 1988 Audi 90 Quattro (B3)
Engine: 10V NG with CIS injection.
I stupidly took apart my fuel distributor to clean it. After I reinstalled everything, I turned the key, fuel pump came on like normal, but then I heard a sound like when you turn on a garden hose under pressure. Engine would crank for only two seconds. then lockup. I took out one of the spark plugs to check to see if it indeed did Hydrolock. tons of fuel was in the cylinders. Hydro locked. Im assuming that I installed something wrong in the fuel distributor when I rebuild it.
Anyone with a bentley have an exploded view of the fuel distributor for an NG engine?
Also does anyone know the correct order the fuel lines come from the top of the fuel distributor to the cylinders?

are all the cylinders like this, or only one? One of the lines on the fuel dizzy connects to the cold-start valve... that line sees pressure all the time (cold-start injector has the on/off control)
So, if you've got only one cylinder filling with fuel, I bet you got a line hooked up wrong to the cold-start outlet on the fuel dizzy.

I have everything hooked up right. I double checked it tonight. I had to get the fuel out of the cylinders so I used a seringe some some vac hose on the end. I pulled about 5ccs out of all five cylinders. That cant be right can it? That's way too much fuel for start up.
I had to put the fuel distributor back together wrong. its the only logical option right now.
