Default AllRoad turbos in 90: Questions

I have 2 turbos that need to be rebuilt from a 2.7L AllRoad. Will these work in my 2.8L V6 Audi 90? What manifold will I need and also what fuel management to run?

This will be my first engine mod by the way. I am capable and willing to learn having never done anything like this.

-Thanks

you need a whole 2.7 engine and some custom moding on the exhaust manifolds

Bolting a turbocharger on a 2.8 12V is like shoving a quarter stick of dynamite up your dog's ***.

The resulting fun only lasts for about 30 seconds, and then something you love will suffer a horrible, loud, and ugly death.

without a lot of custom fabbing, it's not possible. The only successful forced induction kits I've seen used on the 2.8 12v are

1: a remote-mount turbo system
http://www.audiforums.com/forum/nitr...up-done-56693/

2: a side-mounted supercharger
http://scaudi.com/sc/lofiversion/index.php?t3632.html

3: PES's stupidly expensive manifold mounted supercharger.

Because of the way the engine bay is shaped, it's nearly impossible to fit a turbo inside. Not COMPLETELY impossible, but NEARLY impossible. I'm sure it can be done, but at great expense and cost.

Default WAYYY cheaper and easier to just bolt a 1.8t in there if you want a turb ;)

a 20vt (AAN) will also fit (straight 5)

Yeah. After looking up much more info, I'll be doing a 3.6L v8 swap after I complete my custom coilovers this summer. The V8 will have the biggest snail I can fit with it. Thanks for all the help
