AWESOME! I have been looking into this swap for a while now. Few questions:

1. Intercooler, what did you end up doing?
2. Were you able to fit everything under the factory bumper?
3. Battery, I'm assuming you moved it to the trunk?
4. Did you ever get AC working? Did you keep the compressor on the same side? Did you use the climate control system or the manual system?
5. Did you end up using the AAN wiring harness? If so what was involved? Are all gauges/systems operational?

Oh and more pics

1. I used an intercooler from frozenboost.com and the piping kit. The kit and intercooler were for the DIY person. They did not have kit for the B4 body.

2. No :-( .... I could not fit every thing under the factory bump with the setup I did. I was able to score a S2 rep bumper. That gave me all the room. ..... I am building another S2 and that one has a liqued intercooler from the same site and you can fit every thing behind the factory bumper

3. Yeh ..... The battery is in the passenger side in the trunk.

4. I left the AC in the stock location. Every thing was all setup to be hooked up but I just removed the compressor and line ... I was to lazy to make the hoses. Lol. On hot days I just will drive my 2006 A8.

5. Yup ... I used the AAN harness and drilled a hole in the fire wall and feed it through. Getting the engine running was the easy part ... It was the wiring to the cluster was an issue ..... It was a rash. ( no fun ). Just a pain taping into the B4 harness to make everything on the cluster work like factory.

I will take more pix in a few days for you :-)
