Default 1991 Coupe Quattro

Hi folks...just a quick question or two. I typically lurk over on the B6 A4 forum, but now need to tap your collective expertise. I recently encountered a 1991 Coupe Quattro, all original with 17,000 miles...yep, that's right....original engine/drivetrain and all. The interior is nearly mint and I was almost compelled to make an offer on the spot.

I do not have much knowledge of this model's history or intrinsic quirks/issues. Any info on what to look for and what you think and fair market value is would be mighty helpful...

Thanks

Default Wow!

If it's as described, that's a find.

With that little mileage it should be in great shape, yes? The price on coupe's fluctuates and fairly cyclically and rapidly. But one in the condition as I suspect that one is in will for sure be $4.5k up.

If you have any specific questions ask away!

Default This one? How much did you pay? Asking price was too high, IMHO, but it's a beautiful car.

Default That interior = -$10K on the spot. Then negotiate form there....but even then...

it is still a depreciating car..

Default You = tasteless.

That interior ROCKS!!!!

On a black car, I don't think I like it. On a Lago or Tornado car, I think it would be better.

Default I've seen that car for sale somewhere else, I know it

Nice looking to be sure, but yeah...too much I think.

I need to find the other post I saw about this car. I could swear it wasn't from where it is currently listed at though. I live right around the corner from where it is listed as being from and I am sure I would have noticed that the last time I saw it for sale. Hmmm!

Maybe I am just going crazy(er).
