I threw up a post on weds for suggestions on the 90q a4 bumper converstion... lets lay it out...

I got into a fender bender in my 90q; now, I have to replace the bumper and drivers side fender... "Josie" has some dents, dings, and some rust... I think I'll rub her down, fix the inperfections... then put a fresh stock coat on it... I think that Ill end up using a tinted clear coat for desired effect.

This is what I have to do, the s2 bumper sounds great but I think its out of my budget... the s4 replica is on back order, "strait from germany" with no expected date of availbility... So, because I have so much work to do anyway... Im going to try and save a few $$$ by doing the s4 bumper conversion. Im looking for some insight into that particular struggle... for example, when doing a b5 to b3 bumper conversion these are the things that you must face in order to do it right... I am doing it... that decided... what I havn't figure out is all the little oh shizits that are so well known for doing stupid stuff like this...

Isn't it gonna look kinda dumb because there will be a big gap under the grille, among other problems?

Yeah there is alot of bondo work;I think Ill have to sawsal beneath the headlights and backfill, too
