Default is it worth trying to cut and splice the stock stereo wiring and splicing with the cd

or should i have it installed at a shop, have them get the harness etc etc.. this is in an 87 5kcstq.. if anyone has done the splicing by themselves.. any btdts and or guidance would be great.. i can take picks of the wiring coming from the dash and cd player if anyone wants to help match them up...

Default try crutchfield.com

They might have a prewired harness.<ul><li><a href="http://www.crutchfield.com">Crutchfield</a></li></ul>

Default Re: try crutchfield.com---They Do Have One.

I got all that I needed to go right into the factory harness without having to cut anything from Crutchfield when I installed my Blaupunkt Toronto.....worked great!

u gotta love how simple that is with a harness..
2 greens, 2 purples, blue, red, yellow, black, 2 greys, 2 whites... from the first pic.. then my harness from the back of the cd player

couldn't be any easier than that. i'll wait off on the tunes and order a harenss so i dont have to deal with splicing.

I cut the connectors off the stock deck, and use that as a harness.
