Removing Audi 5000S 10v turbo (type 43 or 44)
I need to have the turbo rebuild on my 1982 Audi 5000S Turbo. I removed the air box and air filter for better access but still don't see all the nuts and bolts that I need to undo to remove the turbo from the car. Any advice on how to remove the Turbo from the car without removing other parts (Alternator, intake manifold, engine etc.,) from the car would be really appreciated! I think the setup on my car (type 43) should be pretty much the same as the later model (type 44), minus the intercooler.
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!

Gotta pull the intake manifold from what I remember. There are four nuts on the exhaust manifold and then three or four on the downpipe. Good luck, soak them in PB Blaster first. My downpipe was cracked so I was able to remove the downpipe from the turbo on the bench LOL
