Just the cover or the whole bumper?

The whole bumper. Took off the old one and looks like a few mods are necessary to fitthe V8 properly.

The bumpers mount quite differently. You'd have to modify the front rails and figure out some way to rework the 200's cross brace tube in order to install the V8 front bumper. You'd also have to use V8 front fenders and figure out some way to alter the fender braces because the 200 front fenders are quite a bit different from the V8s. Then you'd also have to alter the V8 front fenders behind the wheelwell because they come up short there, compared to the 200. Adam Mowafy is planning this project.

The only "easy" V8 part you can use is the hood.

Default I just did that with mine not too long ago

You either need to make a new bracket with holes and weld it to the frame. Or drill new holes on the bumper bracket itself that will bolt into the 200's hole locations.

Default & I'm doing it on my 200 20v sedan.....

...but I'm using the whole front clip of the V8.

here's a pic of the extended rail that allows you too bolt up the front bumper, & front rad/headlight supports,

So, Ron, that's the front of a V8 frame rail you've cut off a chassis?

Are you going to weld it in place or figure out a flange that will allow you to bolt it to the 200's frame?

What do you plan to do to replace the front crossmember on the 200? If you used a flange on the other end of your piece of V8 frame rail, you could include the crossmember, couldn't you? Just bolt it under the extender?

Default Yes Kneale thats the end of the frame rail I cut off from one of the V8's I've parted...

...as you can see the only think Audi did was use a 4 inch extension & spot welded it to the frame rail so the front rad/ headlight supports & bumper can be bolted to the type44 frame.

You can see were the 2 tabs/holes are to bolt the rad/HL support...rite after the 2 tabs/holes you can see were the frame rail ended..& were they spot welded & seam sealed the extension piece for the V8.

I'm going to strip off all the 200 20v metal supports, ect & weld the extenders on & seal them.
I'm going to keep the rad & condensor on the frame rail & put a mondo intercooler were the V8's rad & condensor are/were.
Then the fenders & bumper will bolt up no problem.
