Default Sold my Audi 100

Hello guys!

I wasn't around for a while. Some time ago I went to other German darkside: BMW (don't ask me how this crap is doing).

I had my 100 for about 4 years. Took it from original owner with 95K kilometers, sold it to new owner with ~215K kilometers. Had my share of usual problems, realised that almost any shop has no clue once it comes to troubleshooting older Audi. Went fron Toronto to Cape Breton in 24h straight with no problem, for that old it shows how good design it is. Realised that once you drop significant amount of money to Type44 it won't let you down and you can give it to your grandkids LOL

And most importanly, thru the years of ownership I met a lot of new great people, some of them I became friends!!!

I would never change it for something else if it would have 200-240hp and automatic transmission. If Audi right now would make a brand new Type44 V8 with 260-280hp, Quattro, automatic transmission and no funny UFOs - I would be all over it! This design will last almost forewer.

Too bad management of any car company right now is pushing engineers to make disposable cars. Crappy design, so they make triple on parts sales and service.

If you see my old car around (and you see it because there are no other like that Toronto, Ontario, Canada please give a new owner thumbs-up

I don't have any Audi anymore, but I'll be around.

Now pictures of how it looked like:

Default Looked real sharp! What springs were you running?

What lowering springs were you running, and how did you like them?

Wow!

That's a really sweet car...I am working on making my Audi 200 look like yours but in Pear White (original color).

What kind of rims and tires did you put on that vehicle? What size rims and tires?

How much did you sell it for? How much did you put into it since you bought it? Just want to know if it will be a worthwhile investment for me in the long run.

Thanks!

Default Well done Yuri! It took a while. I hope you got your price.

She sure was in nice shape.

.... now... flog that BMW and pick up and early S... and ditch the automatic idea! What are ya? 90 years old! lol. ;-)

How you feed that V8 at $1.07 a litre of gas is beyond me! It is tough enough to feed a 2.2L!

I was wondering the exact same thing. What were you running for suspension?
