OMP

Hi all.
I am rebuilding to standard specs my Bose Audi system in my 200 20V.

1 - Rear speakers do work but they have this "THUMP" sound when putting them or when they are turned off. In the meanwhile, they do sound OK but the do a little distorsion up in the volume ( from half way thru).

A have taking the speakers out and I found that there are 2 additional capacitors ( much newer) on the "B side" of the amp....Would this be the recall Audi did many years ago? I bught the speakers second hand from someone.

Are all sound related issues related with capacitors. In my case, rear speakers have 6 capacitors in all. Like said, 4 standard ones ( 2 bigger than the others) and 2 ( like the bigger on the "A side") welded on the other side of the amp. Any thoughts?

2 - Front speakers. Are the amps exactly the same as those for the back speakers?

3 - IP speakers. Now there are aftermarket tweeters in there, but I would really like to get the original spec speakers for the IP. Were these also amplified? I think they weren't. What are the specs of these speakers (Watt, dimensions, etc..)
